Identify/name the emotion (D9, UX/UI idea #6) #178

Distress therapy methods focus on accepting the stress calmly and being able to identify/name the emotion. So perhaps as another alternative we can consider something that will encourage user to name the emotion they're currently experiencing

I think this is an interesting idea, but I feel like it would be cumbersome for a user to have to do on their entries without the instruction of a therapist. I think this idea will come in handy once we start figuring out the therapist side of things.

Perhaps therapists could enable this feature on a user’s journal, though as useful as I think that would be in terms of treatment, I’m skeptical that therapists will actually use the tool. They might feel like it will make them have to think to hard (and as Steven Krug shows in his books that’s a big no-no.) Let’s keep this in the back of our heads.
