Save Bookmark on Chrome, navigate elsewhere and Tab Closes #11

Bill, you've created my favorite Delicious bookmark add-on, which I greatly appreciate. When I use your Bookmark Add-on for Chrome here is what happens:

This has been happening for a few months now... can't say exactly how long. Thx, Cameron

Thanks for pointing this out. I've experienced this as well, not after every single save though. It's all in how the original popup closes, I need to implement a better method for closing the popup.

On my Chrome Browser, OS (Windows 7 Enterprise), PC (HP Elitebook 2540p) it happens each time I save a bookmark. Let me know if I can give you anymore details that may help identify the problem. -Cameron

Also experiencing this problem across v15 and v16 of Chrome on Win7 and XP; glad it's not just me for once. ;-) Happy to provide debug info if required (and instructed).

I have a fix for this locally and I'll be testing it for a bit before committing. Pending something major, this fix should be in place within the next couple of hours. Hopefully just in time for some Friday browsing and bookmarking.

Alright, 10-15 minutes of testing was enough for me! I've committed the fix, please respond here if you still experience the issue. It's working for me so far.

This fix has been updated on the Chrome Web Store as well. Click the 'Update extensions now' button on your chrome extension settings page (chrome://settings/extensionSettings).
