Couple ideas: Disable alt-d in save window, and add shortcut for "save link" #25

Hey @billkeller,

Just started using your extension, I'm really optimistic about it. I used delicious a few years ago but I stopped because of the poor interface for dropping links in. I've recently been in the habit of just dropping links into my inbox and tagging them via email, but I realize that's bad if I ever need to extract myself out of gmail. I also run into a lot of overloaded keyword problems. So delicious+extension is good for me.

Quick thoughts:

I've done just a little bit of chrome extension development, I am happy to code these if you think they're good features.

Thanks for the feedback Peter!

The actual contents of the Delicious Tools popup is controlled by Delicious.com - but you can TAB to the "Save Link" at least. Try that out and see if it works for ya.

Thanks, Bill

hitting "alt-D" when we're already on an extension window shouldn't load a second add-a-link window. Example: [image: screen shot 2014-10-23 at 11 05 08 am] https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/469808/4758414/345be6d2-5adf-11e4-847b-36206d36b9c2.png

It'd be great to have a keyboard shortcut alternative to clicking "Save link".

Oh, that makes sense.

I know this is a "big ask", but delicious has an api: https://github.com/SciDevs/delicious-api/blob/master/api/posts.md have you ever considered just re-writing their whole bookmarklet? :D That's probably more work than either of us want to invest, but it's an idea.
