And other settings

bills-appworks commented 1 month ago

wonderful! I would like to check it separately.

The following is a consultation in case there are any changes to the contents of the document in the future.

rogertelles commented 1 month ago

i agree for continue translation future version. I'm going to study how to use github better. I am editing the pages directly on the wiki.

Fixed a typo in the English README. https://github.com/bills-appworks/bsky-sh-cli/wiki/README/_compare/95fd0ca1f3c76557bf9ea038fcd6be72c408ab13

Add a description of the supported version at the beginning of the document to make it easier for users to understand (a draft description will be provided separately)

Provide a draft description. (Wiki cannot display branch specification, so I applied it to the public version.) Full text: https://github.com/bills-appworks/bsky-sh-cli/wiki/Command-Line-Reference Difference: https://github.com/bills-appworks/bsky-sh-cli/wiki/Command-Line-Reference/_compare/2dd5c4144b6a0cf145bfc3cd3f93ab62954f72f4...79f451adfc45cbe1a58cdf4e3869093fd17dd346 Add one line to the first line. I am thinking of not adding this line to the README included in the release package, but only to the Wiki command line reference etc.

bills-appworks commented 1 month ago

I'm thinking about the following. I was thinking of bringing your translation files into my repository, since I was only thinking about translating the README that is inside the release package. Regarding Wiki, I could also post only the link to your repository (Wiki) in my repository (Wiki).

ok, i changed different but, The intention is to create a more pleasant look for future Brazilian users to adopt the application. Feel free and where I'm not doing it correctly, let me know and I'll try to improve.

I realized that I won't be able to maintain a general similarity in content. I am following the changes you make to your English document. On the wiki, there is the history field where we know the changes. But I think only you can see it at your location.

rogertelles commented 1 month ago

@bills-appworks Rest assured. I will try to follow your changes to keep the Portuguese wiki current. I have some doubts that arose during the translation because I haven't done the tests yet. Where can I ask these questions ?

change please @bills-appworks

Specify the default language code to be set when posting (e.g. 'en' for English, 'ja' for Japanese, 'pt' for portuguese).

ps: Just as an example. I have already changed all other locations, including pt where necessary.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. There is no problem with localizing the version description. The example version description is written in English because it is an English version file. The Japanese version is localized to Japanese as shown below. https://github.com/bills-appworks/bsky-sh-cli/wiki/%E3%82%B3%E3%83%9E%E3%83%B3%E3%83%89%E3%83%A9%E3%82%A4%E3%83%B3%E3%83%AA%E3%83%95%E3%82%A1%E3%83%AC%E3%83%B3%E3%82%B9

Oops, version differences cannot be viewed by anyone other than me. Next time, I would like to extract the differences locally and quote them.

Can close this issue ?

I would like to close this issue after doing the following:

Is it okay to set the following link document in my repository (Wiki)? I translated the Portuguese using Google Translator, so please let me know if it looks unnatural.

Example of README-pt in my Wiki:

A Portuguese translation by our contributors can be found below. Uma tradução para o português feita por nossos colaboradores pode ser encontrada abaixo.

https://github.com/rogertelles/wiki-bsky-sh-cli-pt/wiki/README_PT

The translated content of the link destination is managed by contributors. O conteúdo traduzido do destino do link é gerenciado por colaboradores.

About my Wiki Added pt (Portuguese) to the description of the --langs option. Command Line Reference

-- --langs '<language code>[,...]' specifies the language code (such as en or ja) included in the post. For multiple language codes, specify them as a comma-separated list. +- --langs '<language code>[,...]' specifies the language code (en, ja, pt, etc.) included in the post. For multiple language codes, specify them as a comma-separated list.

コマンドラインリファレンス

In addition, in your translated version, it seems that pt is included in the post/posts command, but not in the reply/quote command.

I think you can also see comparisons of changes made to other people's Wikis. For example, I can see the changes made to your Wiki. https://github.com/rogertelles/wiki-bsky-sh-cli-pt/wiki/Command_Line_Reference_pt/_compare/052bbf96719d5cdffa5e7126c67372f854e3bfc4 Am I misunderstanding something?

I will learn how to use github and try to clone the project to change the English version including extra details of the Portuguese language. If you like, you can confirm the changes.

Wonderful, I didn't know it was possible to compare wikis

Clicking "revisions" on the right side of the line below the Wiki page title will take you to the revision history page. image On the change history page, you can select a change (by commit) and click the "Compare revisions" button to display the difference.
