Incorrect Syntax Highlighting Example

As you can see, because the Syntax Highlighter does not treat the block with the selector as a true block, all "advanced" stylus logic inside is not treated as such.

Thanks for reporting. It should be fixed now, but may take some time to propagate to Package Control.
