Hey @thainano,
You can read more about our volatility markets here: https://www.binary.com/en/get-started/binary-options.html?anchor=volatility-indices#range-of-markets

@aaron-binary that information is not clear. would you please clarify: which third party provide the index? how the index is calculated (formula) why we can not trade digit even on other asset like forex?
my previous problem with the website stop working with my bot (using indicator) is not solved yet. that is why i have to trade with something gambling like martingale and digit even but even this has many questionable issues that are not yet verified
@thainano do you think they will send you the formula to calculate the market? or maybe how it's generated? or maybe how it will be the next candle, so you can win forever? As you can see in the link that the admin sent, it's a synthetic market, created with code, based on real market movements, since you can find patterns in there that you can find in real markets, like EUR/USD.
What indicator you where using? So if your indicator doesn't work anymore you just give up and go for digits? really? Nothing wrong with that. I trade with digits my self, but not because one of my indicators stopped working.
The main advantage of volatility indexes is that you can play on weekends and have other options with lower time frames.
@binary-ex-machina i think there are only 3 scenario: follow market (supply-demand), random simulation of bull, bear, side-way, manipulated to maximize profit or combination of all of them. so it is fair to know how to formulate the index it is like every other index, is a combination of many small stock/asset using some formular
but why they will share the formula? i don't understand why you think this is fair. It's their market, their platform. You are assuming they manipulate, so they answer will change that? i don't think so. they can put the math formula here, you will still think they manipulate, so there is no point.
i cannot conclude that they manipulate or not. now i only know that: the payout for vox is much higher with duration lower than sth like forex, which means it must be much more sideway i cannot play even/odd in other asset, which means vox is less random my conclusion is it is more sideway but not in a random way i think there is a statistical method to prove that. but that is left for other people to do it. i am learning another method to make profit in binary so maybe i will not use vox anymore
@thainano payout is higher on Indexes because the market doesn't have impact by news, market yours, open and close times and all other things. You can find several strategies out there for forex that will take advantage on that (also on binary options). Playing Even/odd on Forex pairs will be easier, since sometimes the price doesn't change on ticks, like you can see in GBPUSD, sometimes you have ticks with the price for more then 30 seconds, so imagine if you can play Even/Odd with that.
Digits are randomly generated, so it's random, for sure.
@binary-ex-machina thank, i will study what you share. everything is not very clear for me now
We're closing this issue due to inactivity, you're welcome to open it again if you still haven't got your answer.
