New strategy bot, help in creating it #548

Closed James-Ngigi closed 5 years ago

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

So, is there anyone who can create this bot? I have all the details on this .pdf below. Thanks in advance, you have all been supportive. So here is my strategy.pdf If you are able to create it, please upload it here for testing

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

I think the bot its not working as expected, but in some way is making profit. My main goal is not using more then $300 to win. So far it hits this mark around 30 times.

So if i start now and have this sequence, with a balance of $400, I would survive.

As i grow my balance, i can take more the "damage" from martingale, that's way my lowest balance and lowest loss are so small.

I'll try to improve the main idea of recovering from oscar's grind and use some of the martingale aspects to avoid effects like zig-zag.

xremmy commented 6 years ago

This is really nice work @binary-ex-machina. I am not testing with digits anymore. my tests now are with ends out/ and higher lower using ema's to determine trend. Still using version 4 cos two consecutive wins are common with trades there.

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

The sequence bot doesn't quite respond that good, with 1 or 3, as they hit more than 300 dollars Logs sequence 1.zip logs sequence 3.zip but the one @binary-ex-machina is using works also good to me. The over under market is better at this

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol , how is it going with the one that kicks in the martingale?

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

not good touched 1500

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

i guess we need to set targets and exit the market when achieved with these money management strategies. but a bad day would wipe out all the profits

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

Hi all,

@binary-ex-machina , I managed to modify your v8 with your latest settings (maxlosses at 4 and martingale at x6 and x4.3) with automatic money management based on account balance.

Based on a 1000 account, the first stake will be 0.35 and the stop loss will be the stake x100 After that, a popup will appear telling that the session is over.

If you run it another time, the bot will take 1035 for account balance, and will calculate the first stake based on it. the TP will be calculed on this amount too. (you have to refresh the page and reload the bot for the calculation to be correct. I don't know how to do it other ways).

You can play as you want with it, change what you want (my number may not be the bests, and my end text is in French).

Happy trading... This version is the best I have tested since the start of this issue :-)

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

Hum,

It seems nothing works :-( Just had a hit with the version posted above...

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina theoritically for digit over under i modified the strategy to a little bit. I am predicting 1 for digit over as it gives us 90% probability to be correct and 8 for digit under . I had 100 runs with 3 consecutive losses and in profit without martingale as i am trading both over and under simulataneously. would post my results after 1000 runs.

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

https://imgur.com/a/wKLtp

My results after 420 runs still above the water without the martingale. consecutive 3 losses. they are a patch of zig zag losses so recovery system would fail but may stay well in 100$ I enclose the logs for you all to suggest some money management strategy.

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

That system ain't good enough, use this, Its good enough. Its actually the best, it ain't even reached 100 dollars with over 100 runs capture binary-bot which gets me happy.zip

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

@James-Ngigi

Sorry to tell you, but it seems your version is the v8 of binary_ex_machina with the settings i tested yesterday... look at my last post... I had a hit with these settings... it will fail soon or later...

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

Oh, i see, it's done the same here now

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

I'm testing a good version non stop since more than 17 hours in a row !

36baa927-9a4b-4fc7-9b13-61b00f0031ec

It's still running at the moment :-)

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

@SilverDream76 has the bot staked too much that is close to 500 usd? If you may, send it over. I was loosing hope on this one.

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

here is it :-) It's a binary_ex_machina version, but I don't remember which version, and i changed the martingale factor to the lowest possible, to minimize the risk.

It's based on account balance for the minimum stake and for the TP too... for the test, I removed the TP

Ultimate Winner BoT.zip

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

What should be the minimum balance? @SilverDream76

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

With the numbers i set you should have a minimum of 1k on your account, but you can change theses number to suit your needs...

I don't think it's safe to trade this bot with lower than 1k if you go real with it :-)

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

Will post results in 24 hours, see how it is, thanks for the participation

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

If it will not fail until tomorrow evening, it will be 48 hours since my start in demo... i will think to go live with it...

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

lol, me too. I'll have to,

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

@SilverDream76 it said no to me capture

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

You have a 10k account... It's perfectly normal... My highest loss wass 112 at 1k... with your account you can have 1120 to equal my results...

You are far away for now :-)

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

Still ok for me after 19 hours of non stop run

good bot guys i will test to help you and post results

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

Hello guys,

I want to help tests too. Can someone please upload the latest version of the bot?

Thank you

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

@James-Ngigi Hello dear friend. I think I understand your bot. However the truth is $1000 is too much to start for real money. Is there any possibility that you may be able to upload a version of this bot where the balance that is needed to run the bot efficiently might be $100 for example? Thank you

davi9411 commented 6 years ago

hello @SilverDream76

I tried your bot but it hit stop loss

image

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

Hello @binary-ex-machina

Would you please share the bot you used for these results?

image

Thank you

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

you can get it here https://github.com/binary-com/binary-bot/issues/548#issuecomment-368141434

Just change the values to the image that you post.

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

@davi9411 It's not my bot... and yes... I had a hit too... after a little more than 36 hours of running :

I took a hit also

However regarding the bot used by @binary-ex-machina it's still going

okovalov commented 6 years ago

Guys, martingale is only matter of the time. Martingale only is not enough.

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

how to shift from a market when we hit two losses?

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol its not possible. You need to stop the bot, change manually and start again.

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina is this supposed to happen?

image

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

yes. Martingale will always end going too high. My advise is to put 1 on the multiplier on loss and test without the money management.

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

Hello @binary-ex-machina,

With respect to your bot attached, I want to adjust it in a way that the stake will be as it is written in the bot after only 1 loss and will stay that way until any win. To clarify, the initial stake should be 0.35, if It loses I want it to become 1.25 or any given stake to recover the losses and stay that way even if I have more losses until a win is achieved and then it goes back to 0.35. It's 1 step martingale.

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

@CJAsmar feel free to change anything. Post your results!

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

logss.xlsx I am trying the same bot with alternate even odd running alternatively and the results are promising . The max amount It went is upto 89 after 4500 runs. The bot is still running hope it stays the same till it reaches 10 k runs.

SilverDream76 commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol

Interesting... can you share your version please ?

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

binary-bot_s.txt @SilverDream76 this is what i am running satisfied with the results but still as the payout is 20% the martiangale is too risky

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

@CJAsmar , how is the bot going so far Are the stakes still low?

poroinika commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol

hi,can you delete martingale and post .XML I whana try, without martingale Thanks!!!

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

Hello @James-Ngigi

I'm sorry I have been busy for a couple of days I was not able to continue testing.

I will run now the bot by @thehightechsol and will post my results soon.

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol

I am testing your bot now, but I need to ask you. What do you mean by R and F? I do realise that they mean Rise and Fall however on what do you rely to determine if R or F? Thanks

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol

Hello again.

I just want to ask you, what is the highest stake you have reached in this bot? What was the amount of money needed to be able to cover the martingale?

James-Ngigi commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina , well, i think this strategy wasn't that much of a disappointment come to think of it because, the way that the bot used to recover, it used martingales strategy indirectly to recover. We could use Oscars grind strategy combined with the one i opened this issue, we could have something like this

photo5821253421955656751

It recovers using a mix of my strategy and Oscars grind strategy If it is modified, like that, it will run good especially on a market types that the wins are slightly more than the losses. @thehightechsol , @CJAsmar , @okovalov , @SilverDream76 Lets modify the strategy, upload and post results.

Oh, and here is the bot to modify binary-bot v1.1 for Jay's(SMA 1.125).zip

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

@James-Ngigi On my tests, that i run for 2-3 days the bot wasn't profitable, because of a simple thing. Martingale multiply you stake to recover your loss. All depends of your balance. In a single day you can get 8 losses in a row if you stick to one trade type only (just use CALL all the time, for example). If you do some analysis, using indicators created for markets without expiration date, you will hit even higher losses in a row.

Oscar's Grind strategy raise the bet when you win, so it will increase the martingale even higher and it consider your bets in seasons, until you are positive in profit. I'll let here a link to one of my bots running a mix of Oscar's Grind and Martingale.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-hQvAtE9aE

As you can see in the video, the bot stops when it hits the number of cycles you predetermined. But the main problem of all the bots is when you play them on that "bad" period, where you loose 12 times in a row and you loose all your balance.
