Cutrim Theory #571

cutrim theory

I have come across this Strategy named cutrim- Brazilian, As it is in brazilian i couldnt understand the entire concept but have come across the crux of the theory . As plotted in picture if two candles like closing of green candle is equal to the opening of the next red candle than the next candle is red. This is the basic essence as plotted in the running chart their are not many continuing losses. I dont know the other conditions but if a bot is made with these conditions we might add some filters subsequently. https://youtu.be/e07trC4bhGM This is a small snippet of the video.

I've tested on Volatility100 and his theory of max 6 cycles wrong doesn't apply. Maybe in Forex can work. Be prepared to loose 8 times in a row a couple times in per day and have martingale apply at least 7 times. 0.35 > 0.7 > 1.4 > 2.8 > 5.6 > 11.2 > 22.4 > 44.8.

Best time to use this strategy is between 12-16 UTC on Forex Major pairs. Need to test more.

@Jonni81 я имел ввиду что переключай язык когда показываешь код. Тут народ в основном по английски говорит, русского не знают =)

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

@AlienFly If you read the theory, it assumes that if 2 previews candles are of the same color, the actual candle will be the came color. So it bet with this.

G G > G R R > R

It applies martingale on loose. You can only check the previews two candles on 2 seconds or higher of the new candle, so the trade can close on 0 seconds and start on 2.

Jonni81 commented 6 years ago

AlienFly Good. In the future I will use only English

AlienFly commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina Well, I didn't correctly understand the screenshot. Theory I didn't read. ))) With approach that I applied (on indexes) more than 4 losses was not.

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina correct me if I am wrong. Is the bot trades when they are two green candles ? then it is not the case if it is Green and REd then the next candle is red and if it is Red and Greed then the next candle is green.

AlienFly commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol it turns out I understood idea correctly. Try my version.

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

take a look at this video from Cutrim himself at 0.25 speed

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBM53XwkIh8

Each blue line above the candles are wins. each red line above the candles are a loss. The lines below are pattern of candles that he keeps on the graph to see if the cycles repeat itself.

About the written theory: you trade after 2 candles of the same color, assuming that the actual candle will be the same color. If loose, apply martingale.

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol the bot that @AlienFly did works like the image that you post, when the candles intercalates. I don't if this work well, but is not what Cutrim Theory. I'm testing both anyway.

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

then i am wrong...

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina as of now both are going good..but I guess we need to work on forex pairs only

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9BJKMZoydA

This is the live trade he has taken and it is green and red and went for put

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol i saw that, but he don't place any order, just mark the patterns. There is no need to write on caps bro, i can read normally.

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

yup noted...

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina After running the bot for 4 hours I noticed that the bid takes place after 4 same colour candles RRRR>R screenshot_139 As seen in the image the bot traded on the fifth candle...

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina

Can you please upload the bot you are using?

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

the results are promising on 1 min it went upto 6th martiangale only and on 5 mins it went upto 3 rd martiangle only

@AlienFly version too is good but the tradable setups are very limited as he kept a condition of open close . it went upto 3 martingale only.

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina any update on the bot?

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

i went upto 8 step martiangale...with some tweaking we can control the losses..

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

How much time running the bot to reach 8 losses in a row?

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

72 hours of running. I observed the bot became less stable after few hours of running.

okovalov commented 6 years ago

well, that is the reason why it is suggested do not run any high profitable bots (especially those what use martingale for more than a few hours). hitting martingale cap is simply unavoidable. it is just matter of the time. nad question is really about your money management, meaning what is your SL and TP

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

@thehightechsol aim to use the bot for about 1 hour each day.

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

Hello all,

I have been running the bot for 24 hours now and I have reached a maximum of 3 martingale increases and a win on the 4th That is about $17 to cover all the bets and with a profit of about $5.25.

I am using the bot attached.

how many times this bot enters a trade in a hour?

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

Not much @binary-ex-machina maybe once or twice every hour

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

i got 5 losses in a row and overal rating of wins is 4/13

CJAsmar commented 6 years ago

image

So did I. But I have been running the bot for several days now and this is the first time I get 5 losses in a row. I tried now to switch the rise and fall options and see what will happen.

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

me too. @binary-ex-machina your version is giving good percentage of hits but in the long run it has given 9th martingale. If we keep a condition to trade call in uptrend and put in downtrend then the continuous losses may be decreased. what say.

binary-ex-machina commented 6 years ago

the main problem with this is that the reversal could go to martingale 9. This Cutrim theory may work better in IQOption, where the market is a real one. On volatility indexes i think it will not work properly.

I did some analysis on the last 1000 candles and the combinations that the theory owner use happens 10-15% of the time

RRR - 105 RGR - 115 RRG - 117 GRR - 117 GGG - 135 RGG - 136 GRG - 135 GGR - 135

Greens: 528 Reds: 472

With this numbers you can see that was a "Green Day". Analyzing the GGR and RRG, you will enter the trade %25 of the candles. Analyzing the color of the candle that came up on the 5th candle after the sequence GGG or RRR (on what cutrim theory os based) from the last 1000 candles.

GGG>R = 24 GGG>G = 21 RRR>R = 18 RRR>G = 16

So we see that when appears GGG and you make a CALL, you will loose more then win in these analysis. If you wait until RRR appear and make a PUT, you will end up winning more.

Also the sequence winnings betting CALL on GGG sequence will be 2. betting PUT on RRR sequence will have 3 sequencing wins. The sequence losses will be 4 for CALL and 4 for PUT.. So you can use martingale and stay low level.

this is still working good https://github.com/binary-com/binary-bot/issues/571#issuecomment-370419441

thehightechsol commented 6 years ago

@binary-ex-machina That is what i tried today doing only call and without martingale i am in profit. Maybe a money management compounding every alternate trades may work. But i still believe we could avoid some loosing trades with inclusion of a trend in the condition . Am trying with ema50 for call but as i am not a professional coder i request you to include a condition of ema50 . And your ichimoku indicator appears to be a master piece. screenshot_168

forget trend indicators when using price actions, it will bug the calc.
