Double key shortcut doesn't work on first press

When you enable the double key shortcut (cmd + cmd), it doesn't work the first time after you have switched to a new application. Here is how to reproduce it:

• Start 2 other applications (Chrome and iCal)
• Start TotalTerminal and enable double key shortcut
• Switch to first application (Chrome)
• Hit double key shortcut
• Close TotalTerminal
• Switch to second application (iCal)
• Hit double key shortcut
• Hit double key shortcut again

Depending on how you do it, TotalTerminal won't open the first time you use the double key shortcut but will open the second time.
