The ability to put TotalTerminal in "Desktop Mode" instead of Visor-Mode, meaning:
The Terminal is fullscreen, always visible, always-on-back (behind all other windows, above the desktop level). The global hotkey sets focus to the terminal.
I can set up a normal Terminal window to work like this with the Afloat plugin, but using TotalTerminal removes the Afloat window options from the Window menu. I am also unable to remove the title bar and scroll bar, which I have no need for.
This is how I have my terminals set up on linux, scripted with various x-windows control tools, and I would love to have the same setup on my macs. The beauty of this setup is that a fullscreen terminal does not overlay other windows when given focus.
