Suggestion: Game account, Movies/TV IPs, Offline marketing activities, Merging IPs #399

Free game a few questions:

  1. The game account Settings are real (network game also exist in account Settings)
  2. Can free games and online games and movies or TV series IP in CGS linkage, linkage effects: (network game to attract new players), (free games to stimulate purchase and consumption and to attract new players) (stand-alone game also can undertake linkage, increase sales)
  3. The free game and network game and the stand-alone game can hold the offline activities (add offline marketing activities, and live events)
  4. The CGS future versions will have IP play to use 2 of the content.

Hello,

  1. It is real indeed. So when you make a game you want to make a launcher for the game? I think that a dematerialized store is way better than a game launcher. And if you are talking about a game account, like for example a Blizzard game account, remember that account is attached to their launcher which is a dematerialized store. So, what about creating a new suggestions asking for a new Dematerialized Store feature (Account manager)?
  2. This is already covered by https://github.com/binogure-studio/city-game-studio-i18n/issues/97
  3. What would be an offline marketing activity? For the second part, beside speedrun, offline games dont have dedicated live events. I want to add new content to the game, but it has to improve the gameplay overall.
  4. This should be included into the 2nd point.

Also, I'm not sure if this is already a feature, but I think it would be cool if when you make an update players that purchased the game previously come back to the game as well as new players that just bought the game but then again this may be too complicated or already in the game

There is the acquisition algorithm and also the retention algorithm. The acquisition algorithm computes how many users buy the game and the retention algorithm computes how many players keep playing the game.

Those 2 algorithms are based on a common variable. If this variable is refreshed, then you will get a better acquisition and a better retention rate. And a game update refreshes that variable. So technically, when you update a game, you bring back former players.
