One thing I've done in this game is make a game for multiple systems, the only downside to that is they usually have highly varying stats on how you can develop a game, meaning if you want a high tech game you are forced to drop weaker systems or you have to downgrade the game, getting you lower scores on the higher end systems.
I think a great feature would be the option to make a "downgraded" version of a game. For an example - Spongebob: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman is on the Gamecube and PS2, but has a "downgraded" version on the GBA to be able to run on those systems.
I think this feature would help with developing on multiple systems immensely.
