The basic idea is the same as with original, opening new genres at a certain cost in points gathered from game development. However, only some of the genres should be a one-and-done thing, most are ought to lead somewhere related to them, so here I present a rough idea of what the full research tree may look. Also, the current genres seem like placeholders to me (especially the "Crook-like" and "HTA-like"), so maybe rework it into something more concise and concrete?
