Steam just told me I spent 50 hours on this game, so I think it’s my biggest one this year and I love it. Truly is addictive for tycoon fans like me.
I wanted to thank you for it and suggest you a couple things which I think could improve the game if you plan on continuing updates.
I think what is missing for me at the moment (which is not much cause I love the game), is a franchise expansion. Give more value to your titles, maybe being able to create spin offs apart from sequels. Maybe buying licenses of franchises like other similar games do, or maybe even being able to sell merchandising or rights to your franchise. I don’t know, something that gives it value. I know this is a game dev tycoon, but there is a bright opportunity to explore more management.
That is my first point of suggestion, the second would be a development expansion. Which I guess it’s also related a bit. I would like to develop more games but in the current state it is very much slow, which is fine, but bothers a bit. I use the function of external development a lot, but I wonder why there is only a normal size option when doing that. I would like to externalise Indie, Small and AAA games as well. Maybe form a relationship with a external company in relation to a franchise or to contract them long term to develop for me.
I’ve seen you’re planning on making small things to remakes, platforms and hiring famous developers. That is all good and I am looking for it. Once again thanks for the game and have a great new year. I will keep active on discord.
