@binwiederhier, does GitHub not provide an alternative to https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/integration/external-issue-tracker.html? I swear that I've seen it.

@binwiederhier: As @RokeJulianLockhart pointed out, GitHub offers an option to link to other issue trackers (or really any URL for that matter) and prevent opening issues here in this repo.

Example config can be found here: it prevents you from creating issues in ferdium/ferdium-recipes and instead prompts you to use the tracker in ferdium/ferdium-app.

NB: I'm not affiliated with Ferdium and this is not meant as an ad. Just the repo where I stumbled across this feature. 😁
