I want to close my browser tabs, and all this might be relevant here

In the last one with benchmarks, DEX/Sparksee looks as an appealing option..

eparejatobes commented 9 years ago

not OSS if I remember well

laughedelic commented 9 years ago

oh.. I didn't even know about this thing ") is it really important? does OrientDB have it?

eparejatobes commented 9 years ago

OSS = Open Source Software

laughedelic commented 9 years ago

Things finally seem to be working fine now!

I had to change the way we import UniProt KB so that TrEMBL does not take forever and now we import it in little chunks, (currently I'm using ~ 200 chunks with each of them having a size of 500.000 entries)

Around ~ 16.000.000 entries' vertices have already been imported after a few hours so if nothing weird happens it should be finished by tomorrow night. I'll keep you posted!

Cool!!! :tada: As I promised you all @bio4j/bio-people will get a super :cake: :)

pablopareja commented 9 years ago

Still, these are just the vertices which are being imported. I should then import the edges and later on all the combined modules. Anyways it's good news indeed!

laughedelic commented 9 years ago

:cake: only for bio-people....

marina-manrique commented 9 years ago

Sorry I got confused with the teams :cake: for @bio4j/members :)

laughedelic commented 9 years ago

 now I'm happy for those lucky people in Granada...
