Drop down for physicals #36

Open ccmeyer opened 6 years ago

ccmeyer commented 6 years ago

After I create a physical and it shows up in the table towards the bottom it has a type drop down that defaults to "physical" and then if I click on it I can change it to the sample type that it actually is. Could it just default to being the specific type or am I setting it as a virtual when I change it to say vector?

@autonomous1 can you elaborate on why you assigned me? I don't understand how I can help.

Note to self: The returned physicals don't have the type field. You need to join with their virtuals to get it. Need API call to simplify this.

The type for physical instances of biomaterials is always "physical" and the associated virtual type is what needs to be displayed in the tabular view. This is related to issue #4 , join physical and virtual data.
