Hello Wilbert,
Thank you for getting in touch with this issue. Could you send us the list of errors you have been getting and would you be able to share the files (manually or programmatically created) so we could test on our side too? Many thanks Philippe
This comment was submitted via the feedback option in DataMed, so I don't believe that Wilbert receives the messages in this thread.
@aegururaj would you be able to contact him and ask for more details about the validation errors and example data? Thanks
Hi. Could you please give me an email address I can reach you at? or would you want me to paste the errors in here.
@Tj1532 , please send the email with the errors to me @ Anupama.E.Gururaj@uth.tmc.edu
@Tj1532 if the corrections I sent you are sufficient to make the fixes, please do close this issue. Thanks!
Hello,
I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh and lead of the Project Tycho repository (www.tycho.pitt.edu). We are about to release a major update for which we are making our data available as datasets with DOI's and metadata. We have codified metadata for each of our 365 datasets into DataMed-conform XML files and have DOI's for each dataset. Now we are also interested in representing each dataset in DATS JSON format. I am interested in expressing as much metadata as possible in DATS JSON, but were are having some problems with validating our JSON files. When we create these files manually in a text editor, they pass through the validator on your Github repo without errors, but when we create programmatically from information in our database, the validator indicates many errors. We could use some help in finalizing these representations and then would like to add our datasets to the DataMed catalogue.
Thanks much! Wilbert
