Workflow names disappearing #122

Open jdeck88 opened 4 years ago

From Niamh:

From Hilary Miller at biomatters: ... for the purposes of Genbank submission, you really don't need the Workflow name field. You can choose any unique identifier for the Sequence ID - on your documents fields like Name, Sample or Tissue ID could be used.

Note from John Deck: we have a work-around above for submitting using the Genbank tool (use another field besides workflow name).

Meanwhile, in order to diagnose this issue it would be great if there was a concrete way i can reproduce this... can someone provide more information for me so i know where to start?

Hi John,

The contigs that lost workflow names are confined to PCR plates FY17_StreamCode_P01_18s_PCR01_02262018, FY17_StreamCode_P02_18s_PCR01_02132018, FY17_StreamCode_P11_18s_PCR01_02172018 and FY17_StreamCode_P12_18s_PCR01_02262018.

I tried to attach a Geneious file, but it is not supported in GitHub.

You can zip the geneious file to attach it, or email it to me and i can zip and attach it.
