I mistakenly uploaded a number of .png files instead of .jpgs for event photos in expedition PC2202L1. This resulted in corrupt photo files in the expedition.
When I download the expedition data workbook, these images appear in the eventPhotos tab with the following characteristics:
photoID is the Geome automated photoID
processed = true
imageProcessingError = ["Failed to process photo from bulk load. Image may be corrupt"]
filename shows the original filename - these are the .png's.
fields img128, img512, img1040 are all empty because of the processing error.
When I attempt to update sample data for this expedition by loading the entire workbook, the 'validation only' step clears without any errors. But continuing on, attempting to actually load the data fails validation and returns error "Missing Photo File". Updating data is possible by removing the eventPhotos tab from the workbook entirely and loading data that way.
I supplied a list of these event photos (PC2202L1_problemImages.csv) and they were manually removed by John. However, upon re-downloading this expedition data, these corrupt and missing event photos are still listed in the eventPhotos data with fields exactly as above. I am unable to load expedition data corrections by uploading the whole workbook, and get the same Missing Photo File error:
It appears that these did not successfully get stripped from the database? If we can get this sorted I can re-load the same images as .jpg files.
