group-metadata in example files? #926

Hi I am trying to create BIOM files having som data in observation/group-metadata.

In the 2.1 specification, there is a description of how to deal with this (phylogeny in newick format). It would be very useful if a valid example of this was actually added to the example data for reference.

That's a great suggestion! Just as a heads up, earliest I can sort this out is two weeks though.
