I just noticed these sorts of issues when I was running deblur tests yesterday - looks like the tests are a little out of date.

Thanks for the confirmation @mortonjt! Do you think you might be able to help get this up to date? I could help out too, maybe I could cut a PR and you could review/merge? I could also help with the bioconda recipe, too.

This PR was for investigating dependency issues - closing since we have temporarily pinned q2-deblur to prevent any issues here. I am currently working on cutting a patch to update deblur to work with the latest numpy/scipy/pandas/etc. Stay tuned!
