ability to define rgb colors in prefs file... #272

Currently the prefs file requires that the colors are in hsv or hex, however; it would be useful to allow for RGB colors as well.

I think a refactoring of the prefs file might be in order, probably coinciding with the switch from KiNG to Emperor. These files are a very frequent point of confusion as they're challenging for non-python-programmers to write. Thoughts on this?

I think a prefs files refactor would be awesome... I'm a python programmer and they still confuse me (plus everyone I've helped with putting a prefs file together).

Rob likely has insight here, I believe he originally put together the colors code and prefs file
