Signal manager: Renaming the protocol and deleting the deprecated function #51

Below is a picture of the signal manager. On the right side, there is a "Pre/post-stimulus split" checkbox that was considered obsolete. Also, it would be better to rename "Protocol" to "Block" since we don't use that name anywhere else now.
