2 months ago Hi @aoifelarkin and @srengel this is a fly and yeast paper. It looks like there were no links made, maybe I forgot to run the linker before assigning you last week @srengel? If that is the case, I apologize.
Yeast links are in green and fly links (only one gene name) is in blue.
Please just note in the git comments when you are done with the paper, I will send it to publisher when both of you sign off.

2 months ago i worked on this one, added some links, but many wouldn't stick. that is often the case. i'm confused what you are asking us to do now. just try again to add links to ones that wouldn't link before?

2 months ago @srengel sorry you are having trouble. Please let me know what links you are trying to add. We can zoom if that is easier. I will let Nick know the links are not being saved, but I need to point to specific examples.

2 months ago is there an API call to bioentity.link and to identifiers.org? i ask because links that wouldn't resolve before are now resolving/sticking.
when it's not working the behavior is this: on the popup where you choose 'link once' or 'link all', etc., the 3 links that appear in the dialog box after linking are 'MOD', 'bioentity.link', then 'identifiers.org'. when the links don't stick (which happens on most papers) those last two links (bioentity.link and identifier.org) are not hyperlinked in the dialog box. that what makes me guess it's an unanswered API call.
seeing this paper again and trying to add links that wouldn't take before make me think that a solution when that starts happening is to pause curation and come back at a later time to try again.
