Peter, at the Oxford Nanopore meeting in London last week a group gave a talk about using Kaiju offline on a polar expedition. Intrigued and lazy, I thought I'd give the Kaiju webserver a try with my MinION data. I tried a tar.gz compressed .fq (24.3 MB) and a .fa (7.2 MB) picking to run it against the Refseq db. Either file will load but after submission, both error:
Error with submission
Format of first file not recognized (does not start with > or @).
Both files look correctly formatted starting with @ or > respectively.
