Hi, Just to highlight a Github Pages Tutorial You can also check out Uno Themes like jekyll-uno. For more take a look at Github Pages Themes I hope that is helpful.

You can also use Hugo and one of their many themes. Depending on what is your goal with the website, the Academic theme has a lot of resources and can be customized to reflect a team and not only one researcher. The community involved in the Academic theme is amazing!

All Hugo themes will work out of the box, which is fun when you start building a website for the first time on GH.
