[NO-MERGE][ENH] Proxy support for embedders #175

Issue

Proxy were never correctly supported with Hyper (the proxy support was not working correctly with Hyper) and with introducing HTTPX it was not added directly.

Description of changes

We add the proxy support for embedders.

Note This PR must not be merged before #162 is merged. After #162 is merged it must be rebased.
