@hsolbrig not sure if you agree with this was of doing things

does it make sense to play this under generators, or should it live elsewhere
I found it easier to construct a dict object for the schema rather than work with the schema classes, but YMMV

also happy for this to live outside main repo...

could evolve into its own ML framework, e.g. looking all distinct categorical values, auto-mapping to an ontology to make enums...
