I’m assuming this is using ActivePerl (5.8 or 5.10).
In summary, PPM installation needs to be cleaned up considerably, and related installation docs should be updated. Currently it works for BioPerl 1.6.1 using perl 5.10.1, but PPMs for BioPerl-Run, DB, and Network need to be uploaded for completeness.
