After upgrading to latest build cannot see kb or admin area

All I have in my error logs is the following:

What version of the board are you using? e.g. 3.0.5, 4.0 beta, git HEAD
What version of PHP and MySQL does the board run on?

What is the url of a page of your board?

Do you have problems with the entire killboard or just the admin area?

I deleted the entire old KB (apart from custom banner) and re-uploaded the new 
one.

Using the 4.0.0 Beta (Current GIT)

PHP version: 5.2.17 
MYSQL version: 5.1

Cannot honestly say what the issue was but this has currently fixed it.

Previous (white page only showing on main killboard) and when trying to fetch 
admin area I had the issue with an error for ":" 
/public_html/killboard/common/admin/admin_menu.php on line 82

It may have been a problem with the upload. Line 82 is the end of that file, 
suggesting  PHP expected to have seen some code that it did not.

I'm closing this issue but if it happens again and you have more information, 
post again to reopen it.

Incidentally, your error log has a lot of reports of unrelated failures opening 
files in cache/data/ - does that directory exist? If not, then make one. It 
would have been made when you installed, but that was probably a long time ago. 
This is not a fatal error.
