Admin pages unusable with "Use simple URLs" from config #244

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set "Use simple URLs" on the Admin pages and Save.
2. Refresh the pages. Killboard works fine, you can see "simple URLs" being
used.
3. Login back into Admin pages. You get the login prompt, but nothing
afterwards (blank page). Apache error log is empty.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Admin pages, but I only see the banner on the top of the page, the rest is
empty.

What version of the board are you using? e.g. 3.2.3 or 4.0 revision
4b53033f8a1b.

4.1.0-dev

What version of PHP and MySQL does the board run on?
MySQL: 5.5.31-0ubuntu0.12.04.1
PHP: PHP 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.6

for me it just forwards to an empty: index.php/login/admin/
is there a way to disable clean urls again (couldn't find the flag in config or
database) or maybe access the admin panel another way?

The value you are looking for is kb3_config.cfg_pathinfo.

If you use the development version you're likely to run into issues like this
from time to time.

Problem reproduced with current 4.1.0 dev version (2014/01/03).

I do not get a blank page, but always come back to the admin login page, no
login done.
When setting kb3_config.cfg_pathinfo back to 0 then login works normal again.

This issue is for 4.1.0-dev only. Problem does not show on 4.0 branch.
