Currently, only Linux platform is supported.

How difficult would it be to port reaver-wps to OS X?

It may be possible, but reaver relies on linux-specific libraries and features. 
It would probably be more trouble than it's worth. You can always run Linux 
inside a VM and use a USB wireless card with it if you absolutely must run it 
from a Mac.
