Hi. It’s a little bit hard to say without knowing exactly how your system is set up and how your inverter is connected to the grid. (1 phase or 3 phase etc). You should consult with your electrician on the exact details. On a correctly installed TN-net, it should show negative values on the phases that are delivering a surplus to the grid. This is not my field of extertice, so don’t take my word for it. Please consult your electrician. Thanks! 😊
Thanks for your swift reply. I installed it myself, so no electrian to ask ;-) As fasr as i know, it's a 3 phase system. Every phase has its own CT clamp.
I think I found why I was confused; when going to Insights of Harvi, only the Total Energy icon/value is updated every 20 sec. in Homey (the one upper left). All other icons have (clamps and power of each clamp) been updated 19hrs ago. That's when te myEnergy App was restarted in Homey. How to have those values updated regurarly as well?
If those power values are updated, I get the power surplus amount as well I assume :-)
When I used my Harvey I could see negative (surplus) powerflow. Now when I removed my Harvey and hardwired the CT-clamps directly to my Zappi I notice that the Zappi device in Homey is not able to show negative values. I've changed around some of the CT settings in the homey device settings in the hope I could get it to work but it doesn't. Maybe it's a parameter you can add quite easily @bisand so that not always a Harvey is needed to report grid supply.
That would be a great solution. Is there any possibilty in a (near) future update @bisand ?
Installed your great myEnergi App on my Homey. Would like to measure the surplus to grid which is transferred to grid (from PV panels returned to supplier).
How can I measure this value best? (Using 3 CT's (3 phases) to measure usage and production, 1 Harvi & 1 Zappi.)
