Image Gallery links not formatted correctly on multi-user site

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. user creates new gallery
2. user adds image to the gallery
3. user navigates to home page and clicks on gallery link

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to view user's gallery.  Instead see System.NullReferenceException 
error.  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
It appears the the users name is not in the url so it's trying to view their 
gallery from the root aggregate site...

I guess this is the same problem I found and fixed with categories links not 
being formatted correctly in a multi-blog site
