Archives Pages List Posts in Reverse Chronological Order #286

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit a complete Archives listing.
2. Select an archive page for a month or category.
3. Note the order in which the posts are listed.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Typically archives pages are listed in standard chronological order - earliest
posts to latest. The archives pages in 2.5.2.0 are listed in reverse
chronological order, which makes reading odd. The archives listings should be
in chronological order from earliest to latest.

Use case: A blogger posts about an issue they are having. A few days later they
post the solution. A user comes into the archives page to see what the blogger
has been posting. They see the solution article listed first... without having
seen the original post about the issue.

I'm not sure "typically" archive page are in older to newest order.
All other blogging engine order by date desc (from newest to older), look for
example wordpress (http://www.tsoda.eu/blog/category/ui-design/)

I don't this is a bug, at most this is a new feature, which could sound like: I
want to customize my skin to sort the archive in the opposite direction :)
