When attempting to restore the data partition, the tool sometimes crashes with the error message
Bulkcmd failed: amlmmc read data 0x13000000 0x889e9e00 0x200 -> failed: Error (BulkcmdException): bulkcmd timed out or failed!
Since the data partition is unnecessary, we can just wipe it and have it format itself on boot instead of crashing the tool
