Bisq Notifications #1048

Open chaosgamingtech opened 2 years ago

Description: I have 2 use cases, 1) trade messages and 2) offer alerts. I had an offer that was 'taken' and I never received a notification. In some occasions, the notification comes through an hour later! I also receive offer alerts that doesn't match the criteria I specified when defining them through the UI (v1.8.0).

Example 1: trade messages Trade IgytxfRN - Buyer clicked the Payment started button, but I never received a 'Trade state changed' alert Trade SwMuoU - I did not receive a notification of a) 'Your offer was taken', and b) 'Trade state changed' when the Buyer initiated the payment

Example 2: offer alerts I defined a rule to send notifications whenever there's a Buy offer, with a trigger price of say, +2.00%. There are cases when I don't receive any notifications, and also cases where I receive notifications that DOES NOT match the criteria, eg. offers with 1.00% above market price, eg. txId: cbidaa3p. Seems completely random if the rules are followed, at all.

The smartphone app has not received updates in a long time, I myself have found it on the appstore and downloaded it thinking it was the full bisq app, back then when I had just started. After that I learnt it's not really supported anymore as it was made quite some time ago to be compatible with an older version, and never updated anymore by the original developer.

Sounds like feature bloat. How are features / bugs prioritized in the backlog? Additionally, what was the acceptance criteria when the feature was initially released?

I am afraid I don't understand what you mean here.
