can´t connect to winamp #13

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Can´t connect to Winamp alsso when firewall is disconected.
2. on droid program is writing thet connection has been refused by peer and 
Unable to check Server Version
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
How can I connect remte control to PC?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I´m using adroid 2.0 and Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.

This is strange. Your computer with winamp and the android phone are in the 
same wifi network?

what do you mean with "unable to check server version"? when do you get this 
message?

When I look at Plug-in window on computer and start to cennect, is sais:
07/05/11 09:43:02 Starting server
07/05/11 09:43:02 Connected
07/05/11 09:43:02 Sending cover info failed!
07/05/11 09:43:02 Disconnected

On my phone it sais "unable to check server version".
I´m woking in the same wifi network and other apps to control Winamp are 
working without problems.

"unable to check server version"? I have googled this phrase because it is not 
caused by the remotecontrol-for-winamp app. But I've found this error for the 
app called "aWARemote for Winamp". You cannot use this app, it is something 
completely different. Instead, use the app called "RemoteControl for Winamp".
