Allways getting "connection refused" error #26

I just installed the App on my SE X10i and the Server on my PC (running Win7
64bit & Winamp v5.622). PC and X10i are connection to a FritzBox! Router via
WLan.
When I start Winamp, the Remote-control Server Windows shows, saying Server is
running on local IP 192.168.178.24 Port 50000 and waiting for client. But when
I set the App to connect to Server 192.168.178.24:50000 it allways says
"connection refused" instantly after I hit the "connect" Button.
Windows Firewall is disabled.

Hi,

does the Winamp plugin notice anything about the connection with the app?

Maybe your FritzBox is blocking traffic between the computer and the phone? I
don't have a FritzBox but you could have a look at the router's setup page and
see if you can find a setting for this. Have you ever tried to establish
another connection like ftp?

Hello,

you were right about the FritzBox beeing the problem.
I found a setting, which allows wlan-stations to comunicate with each other.
After enabling these setting the plugin works excellent.
Thank you for your help :)

Hi there,
I am sitting with this same problem (Connection refused).
System:
-Win7 64
-Winamp 5.63

Windows firewall disabled and router (Mega 105WR) WLAN setting set to accept my
phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) in the access list.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
