I had to go through a bunch of hoops to get the aesprite CLI to work on my computer. Probably just a Mac thing. But I wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out. I am not sure if that is the same on Windows, but I should probably put some time into figuring out how I was actually able to get the CLI to work and publish a README on that so that when I (or another Mac person) comes back to this in X months that I can figure it out in a shorter timespan.

Had you seen the error message that gets spit out if you run the export utility? Was it helpful?

NGL, the fact that the binary on the MacOS side of things is hidden inside the .app bundle is pretty weird.
