The current behavior is that use your thumb? Is using the scroll standard, ni sure I've ever done it myself?
The current behavior is that you use your finger/thumb? Is using the scroll standard on mobile? With this product I'm not sure how that would be used since you don't know what you are scrolling to.
Yes. You use your finger/thumb. Because there is a lot of displayed discussion in the homepage, I think it would be easier for the user to drag the slider at the speed he wants instead of a infinite scrolling. It would be like clicking with your mouse on the slider, when on laptop.
Do you have an example of a site that you think does this well?
No. It seems like this is a natural behavior on the web, while using a phone. https://ux.stackexchange.com/questions/24466/whats-the-best-way-to-show-you-can-scroll-on-mobile-devices
I would advise to rethink the overall website design in order better organize the sections and discussions. I will work on a proposal.
Here is an illustration on what I was thinking about: https://hu.ma.ne/aipin. To try on phone.
I agree that's nice (and fancy).
Context: When visiting the website on a phone, there is no possibility to drag the slider in order to scroll faster to the bottom.
Idea: Allow the user to drag the slider in order to move faster on the website.
