I ran the docs locally with python httpsimpleserver — the external icon still didn’t work, but let’s see how it goes on a live site

True, I actually haven't thought about testing it that way :D. But then I guess chances are high that it still does not work. Maybe we can do a quick session and check how it works in storybook...
