I was about to add a bitstyles_target_version config, so we could add these changes upfront and with #25 maybe have nice migration paths.

Will close this for now, since #44 will change everything and the above will only change in v4.0 of bitstyles (v3.0 is not even released yet). After that we can use the new compatibility mechanism for preparing this change.
