What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open the attached file
2.Play the animation to see the bouncing
3.Now draw a dot on each frame of the layer "Character"
4.If Asesprite didn't crash
4.Play again, Frames 1 and 3 are now instances, 2 and 4 also are instanced

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.6-beta1
windows 7 x64
