Any documentation for the control protocol you can provide?
A&H Says: "We haven’t fully tested MIDI with Avantis yet, and we’re planning to do so for V1.1 (no ETA yet). The implementation is very similar to dLive, so keen users can download the dLive TCP MIDI protocol specs and the DAW Control driver to have a play, but I strongly recommend to wait for V1.1 for any critical job, or at least test extensively before use."
So... give the dLive module a try and see if it happens to work. Report back! (DAW Control driver isn't needed)
@leerippylifecc did you test your Avantis using the Companion dLive module?
We use the dlive module with our Avantis consoles and for the most part it works great. The only issue we've run into is that the dlive module has some commands that aren't available on the Avantis. But if you avoid those it works fine. Not sure if it's possible but it would be really nice to get feedback from the Avantis similar to what you can do with the X-Air module. Then you could change the button colors when a channel is muted or unmuted.
Until there’s documentation from A&H there’s not much that can be done. Bug A&H and post back when you have the docs.
Hi, I see that they have the Documentation for the avantis v1.10 Avantis-MIDI-TCP-Protocol-V1.0.pdf .
@Bambii556 are you done with this module? Does it work?
Hi, I'm looking for a way to integrate an Avantis console with Companion to trigger scenes.
