Bitfocus Companion Midi Channel #33

Hello all!

I am a new user of the combination Streamdeck and Companion. It works amazing for QLAB with my theatre productions. Now I would like to use Companion to control the Allen & Heath SQ5 and ETC EOS with the midi commands. I noticed that Companion is sending the commands on channel 1. Is it possible to change the channel? I am also using robotarms and they are triggered also with midi on channel 1 and the commands of the SQ5 are making them move.

So the question is, how can I change the midi channel within Companion while trying to control the Allen & Heath SQ5

Hi @JornKortooms, Companion is a core of various modules and does not set a transmission channel for the MIDI protocol. Usually, each module has a basic configuration to suit your needs and SQ Module has the ability to configure which MIDI channel you need to use. But that configuration is only active in Companion Beta, so if you want to use it you have to download latest beta version from Bitfocus web site.
