Layer Source changes not showing up on MultiViewer #29

Open SloppyButDecent opened 6 days ago

Setup:

Create a connection to a physical Aquilon Device (tested on RS4 v4.2.17) using Companion 3.4.2. Create a button that Selects a Screen's Layer (ie: S1, Layer 1) Create a Layer Source Button Create a MultiViewer that has PVW and PGM for S1 on it

Issue:

Staring with a blank PVW S1:L1, use companion buttons to Select the Screen and the Layer in the Preview box and then use the Companion Layer Source button to select a source that has a live input (video from a computer or something) You will see the PVW in the MV does not update to show the Live Source until you manipulate the WebRCS using the mouse. Issue persists when you try to click Take/Cut

Please try latest Companion beta with v2.4.3 of the AWJ module.

I have tried to install the Beta but Companion throws and error “Unable to start” when trying to launch the GUI.

That seems to be an unrelated Companion problem. You can try any beta after 3.5.0+7476 that containes v2.4.3 of the AWJ module. v2.4.3 contains a bugfix that is likely to solve your problem.
