REQUEST: OPTION FOR USER KEYS IN EVENTMASTER #1

Open RUDEWORLD opened 5 years ago

RUDEWORLD commented 5 years ago

Describe the feature I would like to be able to select user keys in event master from my stream deck. Currently the options for presets and take exhaust, but there isn't an option to select user keys.

Is this platform dependent (windows, mac, ..)? No

If documentation is required to implement, do you know where to find it?

This is the Code returned from Event master for Applying User Key number 1.

Usecases When Programming in event master, we regularly need to apply user keys to a layer to make it do what we want. Currently we have to switch over to a different tab to apply user keys. It would be great to be able to just tap a button thats always available on my stream deck without switching out of the presetting tab.

In addition to user keys, cues, destinations and layer selections would also be great. Even better would be getting feedback of the custom names, including presets, right on the buttons! All of that information is accessible via json. I know progress on the E2 module has slowed due to some negative comments in the facebook group a while back. I think that was mainly centered around one person and does not represent the group as a whole. I think the majority of users in that group embrace Companion.

I'll discuss with William about the extra's in the module. I might create an other module for XML support as the JSON doesn't seem to handle everything. This only conflicts with the policy of making standard functions for everyone. So I need to talk with William or Hakon first

Module is ready, for now it includes fully custom option so you could copy/paste the code. But also layout change

Please will be great to have all these bits in the xml module, then you have a super flexable EC30 which is amazing :) Keep up the great work Jeffery

Just replying so I don't forget, what would be a priority?
