BMD Multiview4 incomplete

HI,

I use the MMD Multiview4 module and it works like a charm but there are some feature missing that should be easy to implement as they are in the developper manual :

Display border : True/false
Display labels :True/false
Display audio meters : True/false
Display sdi Tally : True/false

Is this platform dependent (windows, mac, ..)? NO

Usecases

these features could be awsome through macro cammands : Example :

I have 4 cameras plugged on the 4 multiview inputs
I can look at theme simultaneously, see if audio is not to high, and get camera labels to see where they are
Now I want to calibrate the third camera
I call solo on camera 3 and disable sound graph, borders, camera label and Tally so that I only have a full screen "virgin" picture that can be analysed through a smartscope.

Does the multiview4 let you select which input is going to which window? I'm working on the multiview16 right now which is going to incorporate these. The specs are very close, so I think I could roll the multiview4 needs into that scope ... but window routing is my big question mark.

Unfortunately no. The layout of the windows can’t be changed. Moreover they are of this kind : Input 1. Input3 Input 2. Input4

@MIXACHU In the latest v2.0 alpha build I have published an updated module with all the additional actions, plus feedback and dynamic variables. It has not been tested, so if you are already testing/using v2.0 please go ahead and grab the latest build and give it a good shack-down for me. Thanks!

Hi, I just tested it. Everything seems to xork like a charm. I just didn't test feedback and dynamic variables as Ì forgot you implemented it. I'll let you know asap.

@MIXACHU any news on fb and variables? There should be presets you can use for all that as well.

Hi,

Just tested feedback and variables :

Feedback works well on all butons and functions. (see bellow for exception)
Variables work on names but not on the 4 lines on the screen Shot. But these features may dont work on the multiview 4 "4K"
the same with output resolution that don't work but may be the ones of the HD version as there are only 1080p/i listed
the same with Widescreen ON/OFF that don't work and don't feedback when I change form the device

Closing this as I believe apart from the output resolution stuff (which is reported in #5 and fixed in #6 ) everything else was fixed in #13.
